The event is produced by Jenny George, a leukemia survivor who beat the disease at age 16 with help from the music of her favorite band: Duran Duran. When Jenny was diagnosed at age 12, she was given less than thirty days to live, and was told that she would never have children. That was over twenty years ago. Today, she is a dedicated mother who, in addition to her day job, is committed to raising money to cure the disease and help children going through the same experience she once endured.
